Your forum account is separate from your game accounts.
Signing up here does not create a game account, and a game account will not log you into the forums. They are different systems. If you cannot log into a game with your forum details, that is why.
Each game has its own account, made on that game's own site.
Register on the site for the game you want to play:

Forgotten your sign-in details for a game?
Each game's site has its own recovery link on the sign-in page. Use the site for that specific game.
For Neverwinter specifically: if your account was made before the site had a sign-in, it will not have site details yet. Use the reset link, confirm the e-mail you registered with, and pick something new - that sets it for both the site and the game at the same time.
Use an e-mail you will still have next year.
Recovery on every one of these sites depends on the e-mail you registered with. If you sign up with a throwaway address and lose it, there is no way back into that account. This is the single most common way people lose access.
